Noh Sos Bar (75% Dark Chocolate)

This bar is more than chocolate — it’s a partnership.

Crafted in collaboration with a growing cooperative near San Antonio Village in Toledo District, Belize, it is made from cacao sourced through direct trade and fair-chain practices. Fair-chain means the cooperative and their community are directly involved in as many stages of production as possible, adding value locally, creating jobs, and strengthening opportunities close to home. A portion of proceeds is reinvested to further develop these practices and support community growth. We call this the “Being-to-Bar” approach to craft chocolate.

This bar takes its name from Noh Sos, a nearby waterfall whose name in Mopan Mayan translates to “Great Limestone Waterfall.” The Noh Sos, shaped by limestone and fed by the Noh Ha’ (Great River), holds deep cultural and spiritual meaning for the community. Its surrounding caves tell stories of sacred history, the limestone nourishes fertile farmland, and the flowing water sustains life.
