Our People: Friendship at the Foundation, Community at the Center
Confluence Cacao Works is built on relationships — decades-deep connections between our founders, Belizean farmers, students, and communities across borders.
Ben discovered Belize as a young college student and has returned ever since, building a network of friendships and educational partnerships rooted in mutual respect.
Austin’s connection traces back to childhood, when a Belizean family became intertwined with his own. Those early bonds grew into a lifelong commitment to the country and its people.
Lynnae was born and raised in Toledo, Belize. She has a passion for community and for building connections between her adopted home (St. Louis) and her childhood home (Belize).
Together, Ben, Austin, and Lynnae forged a partnership with farmer Estevan and his community — a friendship that inspired CCW’s entire model.
Our people are not just employees, partners, or customers.
They are collaborators, co-creators, and caretakers of a shared mission.
From farmers receiving stable contracts and meaningful premiums, to students engaging in ethical entrepreneurship, to consumers supporting transparent and responsible chocolate — everyone in our ecosystem matters.
This is a people-first company. Always.
